A group known as the Irish Truckers & Haulage Association protesting against fuel prices in Dublin

A national demonstration is organized for tomorrow by a transport group which is not supported by the IRHA. As this is an unofficial event, the organizers are not engaging with An Garda Síochána, so exact details of what will happen on that day are not available. The latest information they posted online is as follows.

Please note that it has already been reported that they want to block all ports, highways and towns, so the protest may not be limited to Dublin.

The Irish Road Haulage Association would like to clarify that it has no affiliation or partnership with this group known as the Irish Truckers & Haulage Association against fuel prices.

This group copied and pasted to its social media page press statements, phrases from its president’s radio interviews, and copied and pasted its logo from members’ press articles. They post these items on their social media site without knowing the full details. They are a fringe group and have nothing to do with the Irish Road Haulage Association.
