Abhinav Iyer, Managing Director – Marketing & Strategy, Muthoot Finance & The Muthoot Group, New Delhi, is on the judging panel for the ongoing Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022 competition.

Over the past 8 years, Abhinav has spearheaded a plethora of transformational marketing initiatives within Muthoot Finance including engaging Amitabh Bachchan as Brand Ambassador, partnering with Chennai Super Kings as main partner of the team, in association with the Indian Super League and the Jaipur Pink Panthers. , to name a few.

Abhinav has designed and launched many high-impact and thought-provoking marketing campaigns, such as “Soch Badaliye”, “Life Mein Aagey Badhiye” and “One Visit Loan”, for the brand, in the highly competitive gold loan category. Each of these campaigns has contributed immensely to the expansion of the Gold Loan category by causing an attitudinal transformation in the minds of loan seekers.

His love for innovation and drive to create a strong brand identity for Muthoot Finance based on the brand’s core value, ‘Trust’, led to the highly awarded ‘Muthoot Vishwaas Ki Tijori’ activation campaign in Kumbh Mela in 2019. He was responsible for acquiring the branding and semi-naming rights of Greater Kailash Metro Station in Delhi, followed by Nandanam Metro Station in Chennai.

Previously, Abhinav led the marketing function of Bank of Baroda UK in London for several years. Previously, while in India, he also led Bank of Baroda’s business transformation initiative launching the highly successful retail lending factories across India. Emerging as the Bank’s blue-eyed boy, he was one of the youngest officers to be posted overseas.

Abhinav’s leadership and marketing efforts have also led Muthoot Finance to win numerous laurels at Abby’s 2019, Golden Mikes 2019, Primetime Awards 2019, Economic Times BFSI Awards 2020, NEONS 2020, Indian Content Marketing Awards 2020 and most Indian Marketing Awards 2021 earlier this month. .
